BAR K: DOG PARK MEETS BAR ON THE RIVERFRONT
No dog-friendly list in Kansas City is complete without Bark K! This unique, locally-owned space is perfect for Sunday afternoons, date nights and lunch with the kids. Spend some quality time with your dog playing in one of the spacious dog parks or let one of the dogtenders take over while you enjoy dinner at the restaurant or drinks at the bar.
Entry Cost: $10-$15 for one dog plus $5 for every additional. Always free for humans.

SHAWNEE MISSION OFF-LEASH DOG PARK: SWIM & RUN IN JOHNSON COUNTY
The Shawnee Mission Park is a doggie paddling dream! The park features 53-acres of off-leash fun with wood chip and natural surfaces all leading to the lake. There is plenty of space for kids to run by their side, water fountains, portable toilets and paved parking. The park itself also has disc golf, fire circle, paddle boats, fishing, hiking and more!

WAGGIN' TRAIL DOG PARK: AGILITY COURSE & PARK IN THE NORTHLAND
This Northland park is perfect for pups and their people. Shaded seating and ADA water fountains make this option friendly for the whole family. Energetic dogs will love the space to run and the agility course to engage their curiosity. Older dogs will enjoy the walking trails for a slower-paced stroll through the park.

LEAFWOOD: FRIENDLY, SPACIOUS AND PEACEFUL IN JOHNSON COUNTY
Living up to its adorable pun for a name, this park is beautiful! Separate spaces for large and small dogs keep it safe for everyone to enjoy and with so much space to run, you'll be dying to catch frisbees alongside your furry BFF. There is also plenty of covered seating and water fountains for those who prefer a laid-back trip.

WEST TERRACE DOG PARK: EXCLUSIVE ACCESS WITH AMAZING VIEWS
A private dog park with stunning views of the Missouri River? Yes, Please! This picturesque park features 1.5 acres to run, play and socialize. Amenities include water fountains, picnic tables, park stairs, swipe entry, disposal bins and more. The current membership cost is $50 but the views are worth it!
